Issue based Youth Work

Youth workers and youth work organisations engage with young people in a range of issue based work. These structured and non-formal projects and programmes are often developed in partnership with young people and address issues that the young people have identified as being of interest or importance to them. Some of these programmes are accredited.

 

If you would like to add an example of youth work practice which has addressed a specific issue with young people you can discuss this with the Curriculum Development Officers in the unit. They can provide guidance of possible content and format.
