Curriculum, Cascade Training

A major focus of the curriculum development unit is to support organisations to raise awareness of “Youth Work – a model for effective practice”. One of the primary methods the unit uses to do this is the delivery of 'cascade training'.

 

We normally provide an overnight training event for practitioners that have responsibility for other youth work staff and volunteers. At the cascade training practitioners will explore each of the core principles within the ‘a model for effective practice’

 

During ‘Cascade Training’, we give practitioners copies of the support resources and explore how to best use them. These support resources are available to download from this site or to order.
