The catalogue contains details of nearly 1000 resources which are available on loan from the CDU through their postal borrowing system. The catalogue provides resource details including author, title, and a summary and cover photograph. Resources are usefully in curriculum program areas for ease of use. You can also search the library database online using our library search. AIMS: To promote consistency of language and understanding of Core principles which underpin effective youth work. To engage with Youth Organisations to develop and share models and examples of effective practice for the personal and social development of young people. To engage with Youth Organisations in the process of obtaining, developing and producing resources which support effective practice. To develop and sustain effective networks and communicate effectively with Youth Organisations. To develop clear flexible curricular frameworks that will support the delivery of effective age appropriate youth work across the youth work sector in Northern Ireland. We have recently published a colourful A3 poster and credit card sized leaflet to accompany A Young Person’s Guide to the Youth Work Curriculum these resources are free of charge to youth groups and youth workers. Please contact us for copies. The Policy and Research Working group of the Youth Work Strategy has produced an audit of recent research projects, which are relevant to the youth service. The CDU has agreed to host this report.
